Sweet Salt Clothing offers a no-quibble returns policy and if you return an item within 60 days of the original receipt, we offer to replace, exchange or refund the amount paid (excluding shipping and handling fees) whichever you prefer (see the full policy below).   After this period, until the first six month anniversary of your order arriving, if you find the item is defective you may contact our customer service department to see how to return the item that did not meet our standard of quality (this does not include returns for sizing issues, normal wear and tear, garments heavily used, or items which have been stained, torn, washed or cared for incorrectly, or abused).

REPLACE IT, EXCHANGE IT, RETURN IT FOR A REFUND!

Within 30 days of your purchase, you may replace or exchange the item you purchased for a different size or style, or if you just wish, return the item for a refund of the original purchase price (excluding shipping and handling charges).   All you have to do is send us the original package invoice and the item(s) and write your preference (replace, exchange or return) on the form, including the information/product you would like to replace/exchange.   Even if the original purchase invoice is not available we will replace, exchange or refund to you an amount equal to the current selling price (original price less promotions and discounts) of the item(s) returned, based upon the day we receive your return.   If you are asking for a refund we must be able to credit back the original credit card or Paypal account wherein the order was placed.  If you are returning the item using the return label provided by us, the postage fee  will be deducted from your return (unless your order was shipped incorrect, or defective merchandise is being returned).   If you cannot find the return label you may contact customer service to obtain one, or click the link on the website.   No shipping charges are paid by the customer if made within this 30 day time period.

Within 31-60 days of your original purchase date, you may replace, exchange or return your item for a merchandise credit equal to the purchase price (excluding shipping and handling), if accompanied by the original purchase invoice.   If the original invoice is not available we will issue a merchandise credit for the current selling price (original purchase price less promotions and discounts and excluding shipping and handling charges) of the item(s) returned. If you are returning the item using the return label provided by us, the postage fee will be deducted from your return.  If you cannot find the return label you may contact customer service to obtain one.   Customers are responsible for paying shipping/handling charges on their replace/exchange if made within this 60-90 day period.  We will contact you for your billing information once we receive your replace/exchange request.

After 60 days of your original purchase date, merchandise may not be returned or exchanged.   Merchandise returned after the 60 day period will be returned back to you and a $15.00 shipping and handling fee will be assessed.

PLEASE NOTE that Sweet Salt Clothing will accept returns under this policy only on unworn, unwashed merchandise, unless defective.    Any final sale merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged.  Valid identification is required for returns and exchanges made without a receipt.  Stores that carry Sweet Salt Clothing cannot accept merchandise purchased at the web store.    Customers are responsible for the shipping cost of returns unless your order was shipped with incorrect or defective merchandise. Ship your return using the method and cost of your choice and convenience.  Your legal rights are not affected by this policy. You may also write your exchange preferences on the Return/Exchange form and include it along with the invoice and product that you would like to exchange.
